Jack Clemo Poetry Competition: How to Enter

How to Enter and General Terms and Conditions

This year’s theme –

“BEING BORN IN A DIFFERENT TIME AND BACKGROUND”

You can channel your time travelling fantasies and regress to times past, or go Back To The Future, to an era as yet only imagined in Science Fiction or the Movies. It can be set as far removed from your own personal life experiences as you wish. So let your imagination run riot, and start writing!

There is no maximum length but your poem must be a minimum of 16 lines. We only accept original works, and none which have won other competitions or that have been previously published or broadcast in all forms of media. Up to three poems per person may be entered.

Entries should be sent via email to:

competitions@artscentregroup.org.uk  or on a single sided sheet to:

Colin Burns, Administrator, Arts Centre Group, PO Box 2162, Hockley, SS5 9DF.

Do ensure you have a copy of your entry.

Specific Terms & Conditions of entry:  Poems should not have been previously published, i.e. in book form or an anthology of writers.  Copyright of the poems will remain with the author.  The author gives non-exclusive permission to ACG to publish their prize-winning entry on the ACG’s website and in the ACG’s monthly newsletter.
